Here are the latest actions that we are asking local groups to take.
RSVP for January's Social Media webinar
Our next webinar is in the New Year and will be a social media refresher session led by Jack Dart and Chloe Hawryluk. It is taking place on Wednesday 14th January at 6:30pm.
Please RSVP by clicking here.
In addition, it was suggested by local groups in our youth engagement webinar that having a social media workshop to supplement the training in the January webinar would be beneficial. We are discussing this with the social media team and will share an update on this in the New Year.
February's webinar will then be the first of our new discussion series with the Field Team. This webinar is an opportunity for us to share updates from HQ and hear from local groups about what you are up to. Of course, we will answer any questions you have too.
This webinar is taking place on Wednesday 18th February at 6:30pm.
Please do save these dates in your calendars for next year!
Pick your elector for the Local Groups Forum elections
It will soon be time to elect the next Chair of the Local Groups Forum who will serve for a term of 2 years.
Each local group receives one vote in the elections, and it's time to select the person who local groups would like to cast the vote on their behalf.
To register your group to vote in the elections please complete the following form to let us know who will be the elector that will cast the vote on behalf of your group.
Pick your elector.
Please make sure that you, or somebody else from your group, completes the form by 09:00 on Friday 05 December.
We need all groups to pick their elector, so that we send the unique voting link for your group to the correct person. However, where we don't hear from a particular group the person we have on our records as the current Chair of that group will become the elector by default.

Send us your photos!
We're looking to update our collection of local group photos, and get some great new photos that we can use both on the Grassroots Hub and in emails that we send to members and supporters.
So please dig through your phones and your archives, and if you have any great photos of your group in action (campaigning or at events) then please send them to us.
You can either send them to [email protected] or use the new "send us your group photos" group which is part of this WhatsApp community.
Join the new WhatsApp Community
We have created a new WhatsApp Community which representatives of local groups can join.
By joining the WhatsApp Community you can stay up to date on what the Field Team is working on, send us your news and photos, and share your experience and knowledge with other local groups.
The more people from the committees of local groups join, the stronger the community will be.
Click here for information about the community, and details of how to join.
